F1 Sepang Post-Race: Congrats Kris!
Jun 28, 2009 - 11:19 PM - by Phil E
Kris Hudson won from the pole tonight as the CMS Fun Series tackled the ultra-fast, ultra-twitchy FSONE F1 2008 mod for the first time at Sepang. Despite the challenging cars, the racing was pretty clean with people doing a great job giving each other room all around. Congrats to the podium of Kris, Andrew, and Tim! See you all in 2 weeks at Silverstone.

GT Challenge Series at Manfeild Long 6/25
Jun 24, 2009 - 3:28 PM - by TimCollier
Before I go into a review of this week's track, let's talk about the points chase in both classes...

The LM-GT2 Class has one tight battle at the top between John Jogan and Stephen King...there's barely room to breathe with only 10 points separating the two. With two races left, every point matters, and bad luck could mean an end to the title chase. In third, Tom Cinnamon is a single point ahead of Lenny Trapp, with Jerry Hamilton and David Ortiz not far behind fighting for that podium spot!

It's not much different in the LM-GT1 class where Troy Dalton, even after his acrobatics at Vallelunga last week, holds a 9 point lead over Drew McLean. It's Vette versus Viper, and it will most likely come down to... [Read More]

4-Class Thoughts on Vallelunga
Jun 17, 2009 - 9:16 PM - by TimCollier
Leading into this week's Racecraft Collectibles Series race at Vallelunga, there's some serious fighting going on for first place, and with two races left after this week's event, there's still time for mistakes and points to be made up or lost.

In the LM-P1 division, the points are being led by Kevin Banic, who holds an astounding 39 point lead over Stephen King. Sitting in third only 5 behind Stephen is Jonathan Backof who announced this week he will not be able to run the remainder of the season. So who will move into the fight for the podium in the LM-P1 division? Rob Melchione currently holds a slim lead over Paul Pope with Kris Hudson, JT Tami and Loz Wiltshire right behind them.

As for the always... [Read More]
